Back to Immortals
While little is known about the man who arrived at the gates of Savant and was accepted into the fold of the mages. The Tower of the Savants contains a few records of the man, but none contain information of his name. It also seems that while a Savant this man drew little attention to him, but a few notes in the spaces of some texts reveal him to have studied very random subjects. Prior to this man's arrival at the Tower nothing is know about him, nor did any recall him mentioning his past. What is known is he arrived at the Savant's Tower in the spring of 347 PC and was already middle-aged. While there is very little information remaining it is know during his time in the Tower he had many theories about something beyond the magics of time, something that most Savants did not quite agree with. Vague references were found in some texts in the library of the Savants, each indicating he had discovered a way to harness a different power. However, no further information were found and the references were all but forgotten when the man left the Tower. From that time on nothing was heard about the man until the appearance of the Demon Suibremoront. It was two hundred years after his arrival at the gates of Savant that the greatly aged man appeared again in the folds of history. While the gods battled the Demon Suibremoront and the rift formed over Val Miran the Mysterum of the Tower saw the man again. They say rumored that he wandered into the gnome village muttering of the actions of the Demon. Witnesses say in the gnome village he made use of what appeared be his research to take advantage of the damage Suibremoront wreaked upon the very fabric of space in Aabahran. It seems the man opened up a gateway into another plane of existence and attempted to gather the power from that plane. Most Mysterum agree that this unique occurrence could have only happened because of the weakness Suibremoront's portals formed in the folds of space-time. Rumor has it that this act almost killed the man as the pure elemental power poured from this plane into him. When the world settled at the arrival of Caimor, Chayesh and Malchaeius the gateway shut and the man collapsed to the ground. When he stood again, he was unharmed by the burning energies. While the matter confuses even the greatest of Mysterum it is commonly believed this man became known as the god Anithraril and presides over all of those who could call themselves Mystics.
