It is said that when the soul of a pure Praetorian departs, it does
not return void, but continues to serve the Castle as one of the
empowered Vanguard. And, when the service of the crown requires it,
one of these Vanguards may ascend to assume his rightful place as the
Heavenly Regent of the Crown. Irumeru once served as a Praetorian for
the Knights, though which Praetorian he was is unknown, and then as
a Vanguard, defending the castle alongside the Oracles and Lords of
Battle. Finally, he was called to the highest service, and now stands
at the Pinnacle, where he leads the Knights eternally forward in their
quest for the True King of all Aabahran.
