LIMBO OF DEATH
One of the effects of the organized religion which worshiped Death was the creation of an alternate image of Aabaharan in a parallel plane of existence. This bleak gray reality is filled with shadowy half-reflections of the world that spawned it, and populated by things and entities that hunger for the single thing which they lack: Life. Those powerful and knowledgeable enough in the magical arts may hope to enter and even travel in this plane and through out known time it has been called Limbo of Death, or simply Limbo. It is believed that those whom perish in the Forsaken Lands exist briefly in the Limbo until they are resurrected, or brought back into the world by their Deities. Those whom defy the gods or die their final death are forever doomed to exists in this cursed plane hating all that represents life, until their souls are once again reborn into the world of Aabahran.
UNDEAD
Because unlike the Nexus the Limbo is simply another plane of Multiverse, and one closely aligned to Aabahran at that. The forces and entities that inhabit it can easily pass through into Aabahran especially when aided through belief, magic or power of Immortals. Thus the natural fear of death and all that it represents has spawned a whole myriad of unliving creatures in the Forsaken Lands. From grave robbing ghouls, to the planar shifting shades.
